point at something and press the middle mouse button: a rising mote on a block, a brief glow on a creature, a small wooden knock for anyone near enough to hear it, gone in about four seconds. every player marks in their own tint, so there arrives already knowing who said it.

the whole thing is spoken in vanilla's own grammar — particles, a positional sound, the ordinary glowing outline — so nothing has to be learned and nothing custom is drawn. the server checks distance and line of sight and rate-limits the eager. waypost owns places; beck owns now.
